Multimedia on Fedora 9

After finish install Fedora on my PC than i am updating for multimedia, first time i remove Totem and Rhytmbox and than install Amarok, MPlayer and VLC :) .

[root@clansoenda ~]# yum -y install amarok amarok-extras-nonfree
Loaded plugins: fastestmirror, fedorakmod, kernel-module, refresh-packagekit

[root@clansoenda ~]# wget http://www.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/releases/codecs/all-20071007.tar.bz2
tar xfvj all-20071007.tar.bz2
mkdir /usr/lib/codecs/
cp all-20071007/* /usr/lib/codecs/
ln -s /usr/lib/codecs/ /usr/lib/win32

Now you can enjoy with your Music and Video :-"

    Wah saya belum pernah coba distro Fedora. Karena kesibukkan saya baru bisa menjalankan Ubuntu dan OpenSuse doang. :((

    kl bs sih..yg gnome-based mesti bisa mandiri tanpa ada aplikasi kde-nya..
    selama ini biasanya xine dan vlc plg enak :)

    Di fedora ada semacam restricted codec gitu yah mas (model2 ubuntu gitu, model2 redhad 9 juga)

    Btw linus emang lebih milih fedora 9 buat distro n KDE buat GUI di kompienya lho.

    Jadi mau nyicip fedora juga ni, berat gak yah? Kalo rpm based terakhir saya nyoba make PCLinuxOS.
